The 2012 ROAV Annual Business Meeting for ROAV members and their guests will be held Saturday, January 28, 2012 at the Richmond Marriott West, 4240 Dominion Blvd, Richmond, VA 23060.

Social hour is from 6:30pm to 7:00pm. Dinner begins at 7:00pm with the meeting to be held immediately after. We will update the information including dinner price and other registration information in the next couple of weeks. Registration will be through the ROAV Store here on the website.

Sounds good! We are planning on being there!

A new treasurer has not been chosen just yet. We will let you know as soon as that is done. For the time being John Keeney is still covering that duty.

Since you're the new President, are you going to follow through with posting the meeting minutes and treasurers reports? Or will you finally admit that they do not exist?

Dan knows better than to deal with that mess. I have a copy of some the past years records. WAAAAYYYYY too much stuff missing. Records are incomplete, missing receipts, charges to grocery stores in Georgia, questionable checks, no tax returns...... There is no reason for me to believe things have changed. I have a feeling a CPA would have trouble with the club's records, so someone without a degree in accounting would really be hurting. Not the job for me.

....thus the need to post this information several times a year so the people accepting this job are accountable and kept honest.

Then numbers have been fine since at least 2009, and I believe the tax issues were all cleared up last year.

Then post yours so everyone else can see. Why would that be a problem? Why must it be exclusive to only those who attend the ABM? Since you like to be the ROAV spokesperson, explain it in a way everyone can understand.

I did rejoin. ROAV never cashed my check. I hand-delivered it to MAR last year. My check is not the only one to go uncashed, either. As far as I know, Galen's check never got cashed either. I asked John several times about it but he never would replied back. I guess John does not want to admit that some checks got lost at MAR, you know, since everything has been "fine since 2009".

I cannot believe anyone would ignore you, that would be hurtful.
