Hello,

I just returned to the states after spending a couple of years in Italy and a fair amount of time looking at the British and Ausie Defenders in the desert. You will probably see me driving the olive drab LR 110. It is the 2-door SW, although I think I have only seen one other old LR since I have been here. I saw a beautiful blue Series drive past one morning while waiting for the schoolbus with my daughter. I have not seen it since.

I'll post on another section but need some advice and local help.

Looking forward to seeing some other LR enthusiasts around.

Welcome! I currently reside in BarboursvilleVirginia but am posing to Vicenza in a couple of weeks. Take advantage of the great folks at ROAV!

Ahhh...Vicenza. I miss my friends and the beautiful countryside. I would go back today if possible. Have you been before? There is an American guy at Caserma Ederle that drives a 1983 110 CSW (RHD). There is also a younger guy with a tricked out 90.

Not too many others running around. A few really nice 109s but most of the really sweet Land Rovers are near Genova or up in the Dolomites.

Let me know if you have any questions about Vicenza.

Paul

Thanks Paul,

I just might hit you up with a few questions. I have been to Vicenza, as a tourist. I was stationed in Stuttgart, Germany for a couple of years. It will be nice to go play in Europe again. We have a local ROAV members Happy Hour now and then. MAbe we can get something scheduled soon, good chance to meet some folks. I drive a Coniston Green D90 with a tan top and a few mods. I will keep my eyes peeled for your 110.
