Meeting Place/Time: The Gate at Willow Hill Farm at 8:30 AM (Directions below)

Saturday September 10
Trail work will consist of putting up signage, cleaning up storm debris from trails and adding a short section of trail across a creek at the TnT Motorsports site. Bring gloves, tools you feel comfortable using safely to remove tree limbs and brush, and a lunch. Sunday work day is optional...check forum before coming out on Sunday September 11.

Directions to Willow Hill Farm
From I-64, take the VA Rt 20 exit south through Scottsville;
About 7 miles south, turn left onto Bridge Port Rd, Rt 652;
About 3.8 miles down, take a left on to Paynes Pond Road, Rt 679;
After about a mile, take a right onto Paynes Rd. Rt 784;
About 8/10 of a mile, you will come to the gate at the end of the road, and that is the farm.

It is the 10th anniversary of Sept 11 - and the first 9/11 since OBL sleeps with the fishes - not trying to be that guy, but ..... I may make it down just for Saturday.... we will see.

(Truthfully, I may still be washing Rausch mud out of my truck that weekend.... )

Sorry guys. Had a heart attack a week ago and I'm still on light duty. I'm hoping to be there for Sept date. I'll be with you guys in spirit!

It's too early to be asking those questions, Chuck. Still have 5 days to get all those details together.

I might be able to make it on the 10th. Is it correct for me to assume that the work day will also involve a bit off road fun?

Yep.. you have to drive the trails, clear any fallen trees and debris you may encounter, help with marking, etc.

I haven't cleared a ROAV trail since 2006. But I would enjoy getting out there again, if needed. Since I can only make it one day this weekend, which is best for me to be of help?
