Is anybody interested in getting together for the weekend of June 20th to run Shoe Creek and or Big Levels. We could make it a whole weekend thing or just the day. Rolling Eyes

Yep, I can still do the weekend of the 20th. What day works for everybody and which run would you guys like to do?
If we do Shoe creek I can show those who haven't done slick rock this "on the trail" obstacle. It is off the path a little but still on the trail from everybody I have talked to. Laughing

I'm still in if it's the 20th, and splitting it up sounds good to me.

If you guys want to do Shoe creek on Saturday and Big Levels on Sunday that is cool with me. On Saturday we could do a cook out at the top if everybody wants to. How does everybody want to meet? We could meet at the trail base or at the old school on 56. Does everybody know how to get to the trail?
Big Levels does take a bit of time to manage the whole trail, 4 hours ish I think. I will check to see if the center section is open? Very Happy

Sounds great to me. Tell him he will just get the itch for a Rover being around so many. Shocked

He's been out with a bunch of rovers before... he calls himself the red-headed step child. I tell him that so long as he's got his LR hat on, he's safe.. Very Happy

Shoe Creek is in Nelson county off of Rt 56 near "Crab Tree Falls". If you search for Crab Tree Falls you will get really close. Big Levels is in between the parkway and Sherando Lake and the Coal Road in Augusta county.
Everybody could meet at the old school, Massey Mills, on 56 before you get to the trail. We have had this location as the meeting place before.
