Hey all, I broke the steering on saturday a the trail cutting. I can fix/repair the broken studs and such but I need to replace the railko bush. I think the part number I need is an FRC1930, which is the railko bush for a stage one series III, or a one ton series III. The top pin is larger in diameter and a little shorter than the standard series top pin.

Dan I have no idea what part a railco bushing is but I have a spare 83 110 front axle that if it has what you need I'll get them to you. The axle is about an hour from Pearls Pond.
Looked it up on one of my suppliers website. Guess what I have isn't going to be any help. Expensive sucker for a bushing....

Hey guys thanks for checking your parts stashes.
Doug if your 83 axle was a V8 truck it might work. The Railko bushing is the bushing for the top king pin or "swivel pin". It's pressed into the hole in the top of the swivel ball. See the above diagram posted by firemanshort.
And, yes these things are very dear. No longer available according to most folks. I got confirmation from one out fit that they do have some but they want 37 pounds each plus shipping. PA Blanchard claims to have some for around 20 pound, I'm waiting confirmation that they do actually have them.

my guy above was 31 gbp so about $48. He takes paypal and ships quickly.
The axle I have was from a 2.5 natural diesal but I'm pretty sure all 83 110's used the same hd front axle with 1 ton cv's. The axle I have is from a lhd conversion and is sitting behind my barn.

Doug, thanks for the pointer. I've ordered two from Brit Part. If that axle of your is a parts axle I wouldn't mind having a couple spares. In fact if it has the 1 ton CV's there may be other parts that I could use. I'll send you a PM.
