Welcome!
You've got to post more details.... It's not every day that we see a P38 on the trails.

More on the trailer...

Did you build it or did it come that way? It looks like it has an A/C unit in the trailer but I assume you sleep in the tent?

What's something like that cost?

trailer specs:
-2008 Homesteader 4x6 enclosed trailer. ($1000,00)
-Window A/C unit. $120.00 (runs off of 2000EU Honda generator) you really appreciate this when you are hung over and it is 95 degrees and as humid as it gets around here out side. plus the dogs love laying in there on hot days we are camping.
-generator=$900.00 on sale half price.
-Hannibal Deluxe Roof Top Tent- $1500.00
-I have waiting @ a shop for me to go get installed on the trailer, matching wheels and tires to match w/ my Range Rover. (16 inch Land Rover factory wheels w/ BFG 235/85/16 =31.7 INCHES)$700.00 for 2 tires and wheels) i will post pics once i have them put on.
-so about $4200.00
Once i get the bigger wheels/tires on i plan on taking it to GWNF to take on the trails w/ me to see how it does. it should sit about 2 feet off the ground once the wheels/tires are put on.

How are you planning to have the shop fit Land Rover wheels? are you swapping the entire axle? Are you just swapping the hubs?

axle swap works, John Bailey just stuck a RRV rear axle under one, even put a spare diff and axle shafts in it. Razz

Panhard rod angle for rear axle....when you lift the suspension, the normally horizontal panhard rod angle decreases from the 180 degree horizontal, which effects handling and axle droop. If the angle decreases too much (higher the lift) handling problems ensue, as the panhard rod will pull the rear axle off center, to one side and rear bump-steer is introduced.
To correct the angle the panhard has to be lengthened to restore original horizontal angle. Welding heim joints onto one end of the panhard rod permits additional length and adjustability.

thank you JT for that info. I had no idea what that was. I had Trick Trucks in Martinsburg, WV install the lift. When i was looking at what lift to use, i said " i Want to go as high as I could w/out having to mess w/ brake lines and drive shafts. I assume the Panhard Rod was not effected. It drives Great. No issues at all.

LET'S GO WHEELING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
