Was the dark of the moon on the sixth of June
In a Kenworth pullin' logs
Cab-over Pete with a reefer on
And a Jimmy haulin' hogs
We is headin' for bear on I-one-oh
'Bout a mile outta Shaky Town.....
"CONVOY!"
Sorry Tom, couldnt resist.

haha, this is true. I can run at 65-70...but after that things get "interesting".
I remember taking my dads Series II camping when I was a kid...we got a bunch of dirty looks and hand gestures from the other cars on Rt 86 (southern NY).

Francis and I had a great time- one very tired pooch! It was great to see so many familiar and new faces! Thanks to Christina and John K for their efforts and to all the Board and volunteers who helped make this a fun event.
Still , I don't think the President and the Vice president should ride together especially when they ditch their security detail in the woods...

Hey Aaron:
Thank you for the $100.00 cash prize for picking up trail litter! Can you post a link for the charity you spoke about Saturday night? We would like to make a donation as well. Thanks for coming up.

I hope those of you who made it out had a nice time at the event over the weekend. I had a great time wheeling as well as meeting all of the new members and seeing many familiar faces again! Cooper is still in a coma from all the fetch he played with the kids!
We are posting pics to the ROAV website - if you have any you'd like to share, please do so!
Other than my forgetting catchup, milk, running out of salsa, leaving my chair out in the rain and failing to preparing enough registration packets for the day-of registrants, I think we survived ok.. I look forward to the Summer Rally. Mark your calendars for the weekend of July 30th - Mountain Lake. We will post more info soon!!

Thanks to everyone who participated in the tour of Devil's Backbone Brewery. You were a great group. I had a lot of fun. Perhaps, DBB can host one of our regional Pub Meets.

We enjoyed the event immensely. Well done to the organizers! Got to see a lot of old friends, always the best part.
The DBB stop was a great idea. Not too far and well worth the short drive. The donated appetizers and round were a welcome surprise, hats off to ROAV and/or DBB for that one! Nice to know hospitality still exists

I did a MTBike ride with the owner of DBB. He ownes tons of land in that area that is allowing MTBikers to build trails on. He is a super cool guy
