Glad to report that we have about 35 or more trucks registered, more stuff has come in for the raffle and I have gotten a little closer to fixing the stumble in my truck. Rovers, go figure. Looking forward to seeing everyone, thanks to Christina and JohnK for all the hard work. We hope to announce the plans for MAR 2010 this weekend as well.

I am sad I will need to miss this one - have fun folks!

Broke a ring and pinion on the Disco I and have the parts here- thanks Justin and Lucky 8-but no time to attend to it with the driveway full of customer Land Rover work. So that leaves my LR3 which needs front rotors and inner tie rod ends. And I want to fit the roof rack more for aesthetics than any particular need. Really, it's me and the dog for 3 days, how much stuff wouldn't fit inside? Oh, and the camping gear has to be inventoried, the tools packed, a cooler cleaned up, and all of it is in the hjay loft.
Like I said, can't wait!

It'll be a fully guided trailride - from Montebello to the trail and back.

You do have the option of running trails in groups other than during our guided runs. I am sure someone will have a map, Aaron. Enough locals to go around as well.

Driving Directions to Shoe Creek Trail and Big Levels.
From the Campground to Shoe Creek
Right on to 56 south, right on to Meadows Lane.

From Campground to Big Levels
Left to 56, follow North to Blue Ridge Parkway
Right on to BRP
Approx 5 miles, left just past Bald Mountain Overlook is the dirt road.

The Java Depot (from Nellysford) will serve complementary coffee while supplies last Saturday and Sunday (first 30 cups, one cup per person).

They will be selling muffins ($2.00), scones ($1.25) and probably bacon, egg and cheese biscuits ($3.50) - at least some on
Saturday and will take orders for Sunday.

Montebello Campground has agree to allow those camping to check in early (12 noon Friday) and check out late (2 PM Sunday).
