Just got something from VA4x4 for the May event. I am thinking about it but am not sure yet. We are heading down to Uwarrie. I need to get past that then we will see.

Yep it's Brian. How you doing? When is the Uwarrie? BigDogs has an event April 10/11 at the cove. (The Spring Fling)

3 (Mike, Steve & Myself) of us are leaving Thursday mid-morning.
The rest (John W., Tom, Drew, John B, & Clint) are leaving to come down Friday. I don't know who else will be coming but it will be fun.
We are thinking about going down 360 thru Danville then down to Uwarrie but coming from NV you might be better served going 85 down?.
We are actually staying at Badin Lake Campground: www.cs.unca.edu/nfsnc/...ground.htm

Hey guys, the first BigDogs event each year is Ice Breakers. It's scheduled for 24/25 April. I'll be there. I can't make Uwharrie.
As for the BigDogs stuff I'll probably go to Main Jambo too, in Sept.

Dan,
I am not sure if I can do BigDogs or not yet. I need to wait and see.

Hey that's cool man. I wanted to make sure you had the correct dates just in case.
If you do go I'll be camping up at Camp 3 with the HardRockCrawlers, my local club. You're more than welcome to join us if you go.

Thanks, Dan I might just take you up on that.
I am ready to start cutting some new trails at Arie Hill. Drew, Mike, and I want to do a bypass around the creek drop swamp part off to the right and a hill climb before you turn down in the woods then another hill climb to the right of the one that is in the first creek bottom. Chuck and Ray also told me they found another hilly area to cut us loose in so I an looking forward to seeing that. I'd also like to finish the loop we cut in but did not make an exit for just past the cornfield where Ray got stuck bad and I almost rolled. Much to do - - many evil thoughts. The goal is to make it so the red truck will fail but the Rao machine will make it with a pucker factor

Paul, we are working on some issues with the county and the land owner, so we do not have a contract in place yet. As soon as we do, we will start scheduling work weekends, and the ideas you mention are where we need to start.

If/when it works out let me know, I'm in for the work weekend(s). I might even be able to recruit a little help, if you don't mind a jeep or yota for trail cutting.

Chuck,
Can we start a 2010 MAR thread with a sub thread for the work weekends? The more information the better......can you say spring fever.

Once we have the site locked down, sure. Maxie is still at odds with the County, but Eric is working on it.
