Measured 7" here as the unofficial cartop total for the day. Not many people out on the roads either, which is good because the plows have not even touched the secondary roads yet.
Wally and the Chinese takeout were still open, though! LOL!

I measured 9 inches .......and then it still put down another one or two here in Palmyra (southeaast of Charlottesville). I took the blue '73 88" coil 300 Tdi out mid-morning. Nothing much on the roads and everything closed. Road in front of the farm still not plowed at 4 PM. 0.9 degrees this AM.

We got 12" in Goochland.
The Short Pump area, where the ABM was to be held, is showing 13".

You could have still gone and stayed at the Marriott. Very Happy

The thought had crossed my mind of going just to prove I could make it. My Nuvi indicated there was only 5 minutes of traffic delays - I didn't believe it though.

We got about 6 inches here. I went out on a pizza run around 8 PM and had a little fun in the RRC.

We got a little more last night - just over 8" total here. The pack under the snow is just ice, makes the driving a little more interesting.

Got about a foot here in Chester. Played around in the field behind our house and found a nice little trail. Some pics and a shakey movie on this link.

I took this picture over the weekend. I was just test-fitting the new chains. I did not need them for the plowed road - obviously.

More snow tonight and I am swamped with work - no play time for me....
