Ray,
I had fun - I think we all had fun. We went back to the last hill climb but I was denied even on the 4th try. Jay also made and attempt and did well with his D2 but he was also denied as well at the top where it gets steep. If the hill holds together this will be a great hill for all who attempt it. I am glad you had fun on the ride-up - - I sure did - - like a kid on a roller coaster. Sitting there waiting on the cable is not my favorite part. Drew was laughing the whole way up the hill on both attempts I made with him in the truck. I think when the truck slowed down halfway-up the trick is to shift back to first. Starting in 1st I was in the rev limiter too quick and did not get enough speed. My attempt in 3rd the truck bogged down on the top. The run with you in the truck I started in 2nd then shifted to first. That was the closest I came to making it. Steve called me Sunday to see what issues I had with my truck (I think he was sure I must have broken something as hard as I was on the truck) and I was glad to tell him no issues she held together well - - even with the abuse I put her through. We were talking about maybe doing a little more work - - adding the hill climb at the entrance to the thathill climb trail and on the creek drop in trail we talked about cutting a bypass around the mud to the right up the hill. I'll bring my saw but we will wait and see how we feel and what you guys want. Andy & I be up on Thursday morning to set up early and if you need some help Thursday marking trails or setting up we will be glad to help etc. Mike and Steve will get there Friday morning. I think Jay is planning on coming up on Thursday mid-day.
Thanks to all,
Paul

Had a great time helping. Trails are great. Only issue is that I am now looking to buy a case of passenger sider mirrors.

Neal, we are waiting for the break away version you need to design. I tried hard twice on Sunday to pull one off.

Totally digging the rev limiter shot of Paul's hill climb.
It's a shame the thing you ended on was Coyote nosing into that ditch like that, and that we didn't have her backing her up six inches, wheels left and climbing out...
Still, great stuff.

Ray,
I went back home and checked on my engine. The 4th run up the hill it just didn't seem to have as much as it should - - I had a loose throttle cable which was causing that bit of a bog before the engine would pick-up. She is running good at this point - - I might just make it on the 5th try we will see.
Truly looking forward to MAR and seeing everyone.
Paul
