Hello all, I just (Sunday the 12th) moved back to the Northern VA area after living in England for the last 2 1/2 yrs while working on a government contract. I was fortunate enough to own 2 Land Rovers while living in the LR Motherland; a 1978 Series 3 and a 1988 RRC. And, thanks to import regulations, I am able to bring the RHD series 3 back to the US as it's over 25 yrs old. So as I type this, a container with all my family's house hold goods and an old, well-equipped series are ready to leave the UK and make the journey across the pond. I should be reunited with my Landy in a month or two, so I can come along to the next club event and get involved! See you all soon!

Well, my Series was delivered to the house here in VA by the shipping company today. Hooked the battery back up and the Landy fired right up after a month on a ship and a couple weeks in customs! I drove it around the block, but I need to get it registered with VA plates on it; don't think my UK plates count for much here:) It's going to take some getting used to driving on the right side of the car while on the right side of the road! Hope to meet some of you soon!

Welcome to NOVA. There are a few us with vintage Rovers in the land of traffic jams.
