New to the forum, new to Land Rover, new to a vehicle newer than 1994...I'm all new! Granted, my discovery is 10 years old, but for me it's like going from trips to the general store in the ol' horse n' buggy to trips cross country in luxury. My old truck is a 1986 Mazda pick up (by the way, it's for sale...first $400
OBO gets it)...runs like a champ, although it doesn't have power-anything except power steering and has the kind of looks that made you want to go down the creepy stair-well and give it a baby ruth. Now i'm driving something that has style, a button or switch for everything and makes beeping noises that I am yet to figure out...so i'm sure i'll be posting in the technical forum alot. In fact, thanks to Tommy D. for helping me figure out a most basic task...getting my radio out (which i'm still yet to do, but I think we're a-go houston). As soon as I save up the money, or take out a loan if need-be, to pay the $20 membership fee to ROAV, i'm in...just let me know what to bring to the next event...taco dip? or potato salad. Keep this in mind, I don't know how to make potato salad.
