fun place, a good sized group was there two weeks ago. If there is interest we could send out an invite or help plan a day trip. Walter lives there, and Jeff lives just south of there.

I have done the GWNF several times and it is always fun. If this is a general invite I would be up for it. I only live a couple of hours so a Saturday/Sunday run would be good.

this is open to any and everyone who wants to go wheeling. I've been on Dry River Run and that's it. I just recently purchased a DeLORME Atlas and noticed quite an extensive trail system. Would be nice to go out there w/ some one familiar w/ the trails. Any one up for this sunday? Weather is 30% chance of showers. W/ all this rain we are getting should be pretty fun out there.
By the way, my name is Brian .

Hey Brian,
I wish I could join you on Sunday. Flying to Vegas Sunday morning. Would like to try it some other time. Enjoy!

I'm down to go any weekend. I spent a lot of money to modify my Rover to go wheeling, so thats what i intend on doing.

was just there 2 weeks ago. alas i have no open weekends in the next month or two. be aware that many of the "4wd" and "jeep" trails in delorme are closed to vehicles. we found lots of closed gates...even on some routable roads according to the (delorme) GPS maps. but the open terrain is excellent, with challenging terrain and great scenery!

I have been shown a pipe line service trail in stafford by a fellow P38 owner and it was very fun and challenging. He broke an Axle shaft and i almost hydro locked mine. I wouldn't mind hitting this trail again if any one local wants to go. this is a link to a trail write up the guy i went w/ did on RangeRovers.net.

That looks like fun. I'd definately like to check it out, and I know a few others who'd be into it too.
You should start a thread in the Upcoming Events section. I'm sure a few of us can agree on a date to meet and go wheeling!

I wouldn't mind joining on a stafford run as long as the propery is ok with it. Otherwise it's a bit risky for me. Around here in Southern Md, you get a $600 fine for wheeling on utility company property.

apparently people do this trail quite a bit and have never been messed w/. I'll check into it. I don't want to do any illegal wheeling. No body wants a $600 fine.
