Pretty pleased with it so far, but there is a lot of vulnerable stuff underneath. I also have to recalibrate my confidence back a little. My D 1 ain't pretty, straight or shiny so I wasn't always, shall we say, circumspect with my intent!

I posted this on one of the other boards, and I'm posting here as well (sorry)
Anybody have information on:
a) picnic tables being available at the camping site
b) whether camp fires are allowed at camp sites
c) running water, or should I bring my own (maybe string a bunch of garden hoses together, though I'm not sure how much pressure I can get out of a 200 mile long garden hose)

There are no picnic tables there, but there are many, many, tables and chairs under our big top tent. Folks eat meals there and congregate. It looks like as long as there is no fire ban we are still a "go" on campfires, just need to be contained. There will be some wood available, free, but you can bring some if you want to be sure. Water.....I cannot remember that one, perhaps another BOD member or Officer cam jump in....?
Very cool 3 door!

What time will the event be wrapping up on the 3rd? I had some unforeseen issues and may not be able to come till late Fri or Early Sat. Cutting it short but I am doing my best to attend.
Edit: never mind, caught it on the home page

I'm a bit late to the show but anybody looking a hotel should look up Lumpkin's Restaurant in Scottsville. They don't have a website but if you google them you can get a phone number. They have 3-4 rooms and usually run about $50/night. The location is about 6-7 miles from MAR. They are also a number of B&B's in town that are much more upscale if you are interested.
Regards,
Galen

Are we there yet? I can't wait. This should be fun, especially with a return to the old familiar Pealrs Pond trails.

Well, my Series won't be anywhere near ready for MAR. Aside from the $20 ROAV membership fee, what other costs would there be if i show up Saturday without a truck but with a cooler full of beer and salami and money to burn at the auction?
BTW if anyone would suddenly need some parts brought out from Richmond LR (it's happened before)I could pick them up and bring them along Saturday morning.
I'll check here before I leave Saturday or call me @ 804-530-2313
Bob
