Well, I am back. I was member a long time ago (Norfolk, VA w/ ad 98 Disco), but never had a chance to make any events, cuz the wife moved us to Italy.
Been back for about a little over year and I am looking to get another Rover. I want to take my son an introduce him to the joys of off-roading.
If anyone knows of a good used RRC or P38, I am looking for a beater with a heater. I want to eventually make it a gonzo off roader, so it doesn't need to be perfect.
Otherwise, I look forward to rejoining the rover clan.....
Cheers.
Josh

welcome back. There have been more than a few listed on Discoweb and D-90, or give Will Tillery a call. He parts out stuff but often has really good deals on trucks as well, probably the best reputation in the community.

I appreciate the welcome back. I will try to get in touch with Will. I found a 95 RRC for 2200. I looked at it. Needs a lot of electrical issues fixed, but no rust and ran smooth. It looks like a big stereo was put in it and now the seats adjust the mirrors but not the seats. There is also and SRS light and I think the air suspension light on.
I will post a question in the tech forum for that though.
Hope to be rovering soon.

Well, I bit the bullet. I just picked up a '95 RRC with 100k miles and a host of electrical problems. But it runs fine and passes safey and emissions.
The short story is: ride height adjustment doesn't work, but the truck will self level, so something is working. Electric seats adjust the mirrors but not the seats. SRS light is on. No cruise control or ac and the light behind the control knobs are out. Other then some major wear and tear it seemsto be pretty tight. I think it just needs someone to give it some love and a lot of new fluids.
I am going to do a lift kit. Any suggestions on the best lift for the RRC? I had had OME coils and springs on my Disco and I was happy with them but I wanted to try to get a little more lift then 2".

Talk with Jason at Lucky Eight...and...Will at RoverGuy.com
ROAV members like to support those that support us, plus both L8 & RoverGuy know their LR stuff, and it's good stuff!
Will has the LR diagnostic system/s/w should you decide to fix the air suspension and other electrickery.

Jt,
I will hit them up. I am definitely going to try to fix what I can. I do want to go with a lift of some kind, most likely start out with a 2" coil conversion to fit a little bigger tire, but wait for a few years and gain some experience, before I go bigger.
I definitely need access to a Landrover diagnostic machine. I have an OBDII code reader but I don't even know if my Rangie has OBDI or II.
First order of business is to get a Haynes or equivalent manual....
Thanks for the info.
Josh
